This construction work is being carried out by Julius Berger. The picture below is the ongoing construction work on the Berger Axis which is one of the major gateways to the Lagos state. It is undergoing a massive expansion to allow better access.

The government is also constructing iron barricades to facilitate a free flow of traffic and forestall incidents of accidents associated with pedestrians crossing the road without recourse to the footbridge.
