2 Men arrested for Stabbing Wizkid's Bodyguard

2 Men have been arraigned by the Nigerian Police in Lagos for beating up Wizkid's Bodyguard Emmanuel Obinna. The men are identified as Olufemi Olusanya aka Femi Posh, the Chairman of Poshhills Entertainment 38years old and a bouncer,29 years old David Afari.

The 2men were arraigned before the Igbosere Magistrate Court, yesterday, for allegedly stabbing the personal bodyguard of Star Boy label and Top Nigerian Music Star, Wizkid.

According to the reports, Emmanuel was beaten allegedly while he was trying to pay part of Wizkid's debt to Femi Posh.

According to the gist, Wizkid is owing Femi Posh N15million naira which is N8million naira for Nightclubbing activities Wizkid had in Femi's club and another N7Million naira for the Pool Party Bill.

Femi Posh owns DANA Nightclub located at 76, Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island.

Emmanuel was said to have gone to clear up the pool party bill when Femi called his Bouncer, David Afari, to come beat Emmanuel up.

David did as instructed, Femi went further to join in the beating and also used Broken glass to injure one of Emmanuel's eyes, fingers and the left side of his face.

Emmanuel claimed this incident happened at about 3am on November 15 at Dana Club.

Femi Olunsanya,and David Afari are both facing a three-count charge bordering on conspiracy, grievous bodily harm, and unlawful assault.

The offences committed is punishable under sections 411, 173 and 245 of the criminal laws of Lagos State 2015.

However, Femi posh and David Afari denied such allegations and pleaded not guilty to the charges levied against them.

Their lawyer, D.Mustapher further urged the court to grant bail to the accused on liberal terms as immediate steps are already being taken to settle the matter between the two parties.

He said his clients have taken steps to pay the Medical Bills for injured Complainant.

Magistrate Y.O Aro-Lambo who presided on the case in place of Magistrate O.O Oshin granted the accused a bail of the sum of N500,000 naira each and two sureties each, specifying that both of the Sureties must be Taxpayers while one of the sureties MUST be a community leader with a verified address.

He adjorned the case till January 17, 2019.
